I have stated continuously throughout this campaign that I am here for the people of Huntingdon, who alone are my "party", and to whom I will be accountable.
I have walked these many miles throughout this period, listened carefully to every concern, including people who are in the town centres but have been caught by the boundary change.
The stories of people's distress, of how they feel the State, Government, MP, public institututions have failed them are appalling, heart-breaking and tragic.
We must fix this.
I will provide the leadership, compassion, care and commitment: our people are the only ones who can then enable me to take their case to Parliament by making 4th July Independents' Day!
