'Christian Nationalism' - time for frank, open and courteous conversation to calm things down

It's clear that people are getting hot under the collar (several under their 'dog collars') about Christians holding up crosses, Christian symbols, Flags of The Union, St George, St Andrew, St Patrick and gathering in public to make a stand for Britain as a Christian country, and what that means for us in 2025 and going forward.
I am aware of the heat, and there's a need for some light, so I intend to host a meeting where as many as wish to can get together, share views, listen to each other and keep a friendly dialogue going. Writing on social media can lead to misunderstandings and we're probably all (or aspire to be) thoroughly nice people, when all is said and done. So perhaps a chat over a cup of tea (bear in mind this is on line - Zoom) would help us all? I will arrange this.
Stand by. If you are interested in receiving an invitation, please let me know. I'll also create an event notification.
Meanwhile, if you haven't read it, please do make your way to the substack of Aaron Edwards and check out his "Who's afraid of Christian Nationalism?" that I've linked at the end of this post. He's been having an animated discussion on FB and here's an extract from my comment in that thread.

"This is an excellent article. Balanced, respectful, informed and rational.
The difficulty that some of your [Aaron's] detractors in this thread have is that they don’t understand:
(a) how they have arrived at their disagreement with your statements;
(b) how words like “racism” have been exhausted of any meaningful use in 2025, and therefore anyone relying upon “racism” in a sentence might as well have a blank space, rendering their argument baseless.
My advice to all is desist from using “racism”.
I speak as one who understands deeply what prejudice of many kinds, and “race” in particular, means and its effects.I suspect some, perhaps, all of your debating opponents here haven’t walked in my shoes.
Born in Ceylon, growing up in London and with extensive experience of multifaceted, multiethnic, multicultural communities, neighbourhoods, businesses and churches, it is clear as the nose on our faces that our nation needs a full return to our Christian roots, heritage and culture.Britain is a Christian nation, despite not all those inhabiting our land not being Christian.
There is no need to apologise for wanting to reinforce our Christian foundations that have been intentionally and deliberately targeted for destruction over the past 60 years (not least by the BBC, whose time of judgement now appears to have arrived).

If you live in a house where the foundations are endangered, you take action to strengthen them - if you want a home to live in. Failure to do so is foolish, ignorant, irrational, reckless, endangers others and will result in catastrophe. That’s the position of all who are attacking the underpinning concept of “Christian Nationalism”.
There should be no need for a term such as “Christian Nationalism” but, if using it is helpful to assist people in coming to a healthy and correct understanding of what Britain needs in 2025 to avert calamity, then let’s use it, fully explaining it for the avoidance of doubt. You have done this really well. There are many human agents, acting as enemies of freedom, driven by rebellious unseen entities.

People of all backgrounds, Christians among them, who fail to understand Britain’s perilous condition and the need for Biblically informed strategies to resist evil and recover our nation’s sovereignty and freedom from forces bent on our subjugation and the snuffing out of the Christian light, are complicit with that animus.
And, doubtless unintentionally, they’re guilty of more.
They are in active opposition to those seeking the welfare of Britain in its darkest time since 1939.
Let’s persevere.
There’s much Biblical precedent and we are to “fight the good fight of faith” to save our todays and tomorrows."
